argh. Thank God for auto spellcheck!
You know I'm tired when I write "paied" instead of "paid"

*headdesk*

In other news, check out my wordcount!

6339 / 50000 words. 13% done!

...and really, how are we supposed to keep our wordcount stats correct if the site won't let us on? ARGH! I wish they'd fix that freaking website, and update the servers, and whatever they need to do to keep up with site traffic! They KNOW the amount of traffic they get during November (and October, come to think of it), and yet the site is always down or slow!

A good start to NaNo
Yes! I have 2743 words right now, and it's still 11/1 for me!

Because of the way I'm writing my novel - in sections, where I write chronologically (and literally in the document) depends on how I'm inspired at the moment - I won't be posting any of it until the end of the month. Or at least until I'm sure I'm finished with a section.

Jabberwocky
'Twas brillig, and the slithy toves
Did gyre and gimble in the wabe;
All mimsy were the borogoves,
And the mome raths outgrabe.

'Beware the Jabberwock, my son!
The jaws that bite, the claws that catch!
Beware the Jubjub bird, and shun
The frumious Bandersnatch!'

He took his vorpal sword in hand:
Long time the manxome foe he sought--
So rested he by the Tumtum tree,
And stood awhile in thought.

And as in uffish thought he stood,
The Jabberwock, with eyes of flame,
Came whiffling through the tulgey wood,
And burbled as it came!

One, two! One, two! And through and through
The vorpal blade went snicker-snack!
He left it dead, and with its head
He went galumphing back.

'And hast thou slain the Jabberwock?
Come to my arms, my beamish boy!
O frabjous day! Callooh! Callay!'
He chortled in his joy.

'Twas brillig, and the slithy toves
Did gyre and gimble in the wabe;
All mimsy were the borogoves,
And the mome raths outgrabe.

-Lewis Carrol, 1871
